The Arabian Nights – 1979 – Four Volumes in Arabic

A very attractive four-volume set of the Arabian Nights, or A Thousand and One Nights, in Arabic.

This is based on the famous 1835 Bulaq edition of the text, published in Cairo, which served as the basis for most modern versions of the stories. Contains all the well-known stories including Aladdin, Ali Baba, Sindbad the Sailor, Noureddin Ali, the Story of the Fisherman and many more.

Published in Beirut in 1979 by Almaktaba Althakafeya. In very good condition, with previous owner’s stamp inside each volume. Externally very bright and crisp with only minor edgewear.
