AED650

A first edition, first printing of the posthumous collection of verse by Sylvia Plath, published in 1971 by her husband Ted Hughes.

The 19 poems explore the theme of nature in winter, and were written in the final months of her life. They reflect her struggles that time and convey emotional coldness, isolation, and the idea of death and rebirth. Plath’s previous volumes included The Bell Jar and Ariel.

In very good condition indeed. Hardback, published by Faber and Faber in London. Original unclipped jacket, clean inside with no writing or markings.
