A beautiful and rare album of pressed wild flowers from Palestine, dating from the early 20th century, published in Jerusalem.

Bound in olive wood boards, with front board titled ‘Jerusalem’, and decorative leather spine. Titles and captions in English, French and German.

Consists of decorative pressed flowers from several locations in the Holy Land, with captions, pressed into pages with tissue guard separators to each page.

In very good condition. Some rubbing to wood boards. Vast majority of flowers still intact. Some spotting and marks to pages. Clean inside with no inscriptions or writing. Binding is tight and no pages are loose.
