A first edition of this well-known autobiography by Mohammed al-Fahim, who tells his story alongside the wider development of Abu Dhabi from the 1950s to the 1990s.

This is the rare first edition of the book, which was subsequently reprinted in later editions and under different publishers.

Published in 1996 by the London Centre for Arab Studies. Contains many colour photos of the period, and a fascinating insight into the transformation of the Emirate.

In near-fine condition, appears unread. Paperback, 191 pages.
