An early printing of this allegorical work of philosophy by the Lebanese writer Mikhail Naimy, a contemporary of Khalil Gibran and Ameen Rihani.

Subtitled ‘The Strange Story of a Monastery which was once called an Ark’, it was written in English and first published in Lebanon in 1948.

Published by Stuart and Watkins in the UK in 1962. Hardback, with dust jacket. Internally in good condition, dust jacket has missing areas and large closed tears.
