A detailed original map of western regions of Russia, including Courland, Riga and the regions east of the Niemen River and west of the Dneipr, taken from Poland in the late 18th century (Pinsk, Bracklaw, Minsk, Wilno, Olewska etc).

Titled in full as “Russia in Europe with its Dismemberments from Poland in 1773, 1793 and 1795″

Engraved by Robert Wilkinson (1968-1825), taken from his General Atlas of the World, published in London in 1800.

In very good condition. Hand coloured. Light age toning. 305mm x 235mm with margins. Blank to reverse.

Sold mounted in a beige-coloured border.
