Gulf Air – Original 1977 Magazine Advertisement

An original 1977 magazine advertisement for Bahrain-based Gulf Air, marketing its regional and international routes.

During this period Gulf Air remained part-owned by the governments of Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Oman, which had collectively bought out the stake in the airline owned by BOAC.

Abu Dhabi withdrew from Gulf Air in 2005, shortly before establishing its own national carrier, Etihad Airways.
