A rare signed copy of this seminal work by the Palestinian-American academic Edward Said, first published in 1978.

Orientalism is an acclaimed critique of Western perceptions and depictions of the wider Middle East, written by Said when he was a professor at Columbia University.

This is a 1995 Penguin paperback edition of the book, signed by the author at a book event in the UK in the mid-1990s.  In very good condition: no creasing or folds, binding is tight and square. Clean inside except for author’s signature.
