It tells the story of the 1959 Clutter family murders in Kansas, where Capote researched the crime in detail. The book was an instant critical and commercial success, and later adapted into several screen versions.

First UK edition, first impression. Hardback, published by Hamish Hamilton in 1966, just after the first US edition. In good condition. Jacket has missing areas and damage, but remains intact. Price-clipped. Clean inside with no writing or marking.
