With 32 full-page steel engravings spread throughout the text, drawn by James Clark and H.A. Harper. Also features two maps of Palestine and Jerusalem to the rear.

Bound in purple cloth with gilt lettering to front board. Published by Oxford University Press. Not dated, but gift inscription dated 1912. In very good condition, fading to spine and some minor spotting. 1020 pages. Sized 14cm x 10cm.
