A well-preserved edition of this renowned English translation of the Quran, dating from the early 20th century.

George Sale produced the first direct translation of the Quran into English, initially published in 1734. Numerous other editions were later published, using the same text. Titled in full as “The Koran: Commonly called the Alcoran of Mohammed.”

This edition was published by Frederick Warne and Co in London. Hardback, with the original jacket, showing a few marks and stains but overall in good condition. 608 pages. No writing or markings inside.
