Describes key sites and ruins, including those at Tyre, Sidon, Acre and more, with illustrations and a fold-out colour map.

First edition, bound in the original blue cloth with gilt lettering and motif to front and spine. 472 pages.

Published in 1886 by Richard Bentley and son. In very good condition. A neat contemporary owner’s name inside, dated 1886, otherwise clean and bright. No fading or rubbing to lettering on boards. Minor wear and creasing to extremities of spine.
