A wonderful folding panoramic map of the Suez Canal, published in the mid-1920s.
Shows a landscape view of the waterway on one side, in colour, with key points and nautical features. Includes additional inset plans of Port Said and a broader map of the region. Scale: 1:200,000.
Front wrapper features a statue of Ferdinand De Lesseps. Text in English, French and German.
Published by the Oriental Commercial Bureau in Port Said. Second edition. Undated but mid/late 1920s. In very good condition. Some minor edgewear but otherwise very bright and clean. 84.4cm x 23.1cm when fully extended.
