[SOLD] Our Industry: The Anglo-Iranian Oil Company – 1949

A hard-to-find 1949 profile of the petroleum industry by the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company, later renamed BP.

The handbook was published internally by the company for its employees, and never publicly on sale. It first appeared in 1947: this is the expanded and updated second printing, from 1949, with sections on all aspects of the industry as well as hundreds of photographs, illustrations, tables of data, and a fold-out map.

Hardback, bound in the original dark green cloth with gilt lettering. 368 pages. In very good condition indeed, with no stains or major flaws externally. Neat previous owner’s inscription. Published in London in June 1949.
