Published in 1989 by the American University of Cairo (AUC) Press, this is the true first English edition of the book. The novel was first published in 1956 in Arabic as bayn al-qasrayn.

Hardback, very good condition. Some creasing and marks to jacket cover. Clean and bright inside with no inscriptions other than author’s message and signature. Not price-clipped.
