[SOLD] Khalil Gibran – Jesus: The Son of Man

An attractive edition of Khalil Gibran’s longest book, first published in 1928, which views Jesus through the eyes of 77 different contemporaries who knew him, including Romans, Syrians, priests and poets.

Gibran wrote the work between 1926 and 1927 in New York, several years after completing The Prophet. It also includes a number of his own sketches and illustrations interspersed between the text.

This is a 1970s edition published by Heinemann in London, with a decorative jacket. Hardback, in good condition, some minor wear externally.
