[SOLD] Hergé – Tintin au Pays de l’Or Noir – 1950 First Edition

An attractive and well-preserved first edition of the 15th Tintin adventure, set mainly in the Middle East.

This is the first full-length colour appearance of the story, in French, which was originally serialised in Belgium in the 1940s.

Edition B4, published in Belgium by Casterman in 1950.

In very good condition overall. Clean inside with no writing, inscriptions or other markings. Front and rear boards unusually bright and clean. Some wear and a few small cracks to spine, as is normal on Tintin books from this period.
