With hundreds of rare archive photos in colour and black-and-white, it gives a unique insight into this crucial period of Emirati history, and the role of the country’s first President in its formative years.

Hardback, bound in gilt cloth with black lettering. Original jacket and slipcase. Published in 1981 by the Abu Dhabi government, printed in Tokyo by Dai Nippon.
