Stark was one of the earliest travellers to document the region in this way, capturing landscapes, people, settlements and more.

First printing, published by John Murray in London. Hardback, bound in oat-coloured cloth with green lettering to cover and spine. No jacket. In very good condition, some minor spots and tanning to boards and spine. No writing or inscriptions.
