A nicely-bound 1920 edition of this acclaimed play about the life of Cyrano de Bergerac, a 17th-century French novelist and nobleman.

It is written entirely in rhyming couplets across five acts, and has been adapted many times for cinema, television and radio in both English and French.

Hardback, bound in half-calf with marbled boards and endpapers. Previous owner’s inscription from 1921. In very good condition. Some minor wear externally.
