The author was a Dutch diplomat stationed in southern Arabia and Saudi during the period, who also authored The Wells of Ibn Saud. 

Features black-and-white photography and several maps. Covers people, landscapes, history, daily life and more.

Hardback, bound in cream cloth. No jacket. Published in 1947 by John Murray in London. First edition, first impression. In very good condition, a few spots externally, clean inside with no writing.
