[SOLD] Claud Morris – The Desert Falcon

A rare example of one of the earliest biographies of Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, first published in 1974.

Written by a British journalist based on meetings with Sheikh Zayed in the early 1970s, shortly after the formation of the UAE and its rising profile. Sheikh Zayed was the the country’s first President, and the Ruler of Abu Dhabi since 1967.

Hardback. First edition, published by Outline in London. No publication date mentioned, but mid-1970s. 102 pages.

In very good condition. Original jacket, not price-clipped. Minor wear to jacket edges and slight fading to edges. Binding tight. Previous owner’s inscription dated 1977.
