[SOLD] Cervantes – Don Quixote – 1905

A superb 1905 edition of Cervantes’ 17th-century  Spanish classic, The Life and Adventures of Don Quixote de la Mancha.

With a lovely full calf binding in dark blue, decorative gilt spine with five raised bands and compartments. Marbled endpapers and gilt to all edges of text block.

Illustrated throughout with B&W sketches by H.M. Brock.

Published in 1905 in London by C. Arthur Pearson. Ink inscription to preliminary blank page, otherwise clean inside in very good condition. Externally some very slight rubbing to top of front board, but generally excellent.
