The Rubaiyat of Omar al-Khayyam – 1920s

An attractive and unusually well-preserved edition of the Rubaiyat, published by Harrap in the early 1920s.

Illustrated and decorated by Hungarian artist Willy Pogany (1882-1955), with tipped-in plates and lithographic printing.

Leather-bound, in very good condition. Minor bumping to corners. Occasional marks to front board. Clean inside except for neat previous owner’s inscription dated 1925.
