A special expanded edition of the UK’s Architectural Review magazine, published in June 1977, focussed on the United Arab Emirates.

It features extensive articles on buildings, design and architecture in the country, including Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah and other areas, complete with illustrations, pictures and sketches.

There are special features on the architecture of Bastakia and development on Das island, as well as detailed articles on ecology, urban settlement and agriculture.

The publication also contains dozens of original advertisements from the era, in black and white and colour.

This is now an extremely rare item, especially in this condition.
