The account by  T. E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) of his time in the Royal Air Force in the early 1920s, after his return from fighting in the Arab Revolt of the First World War.

Lawrence enlisted under a false name – Shaw – to disguise his true identity.

First edition, first impression, 1955, by Jonathan Cape. Hardback. In good condition. Original dust jacket, not price-clipped, which shows signs of wear including several small tears and creasing to the edges. Some marking and rubbing to front and rear boards. Clean internally with no inscriptions or bookplates.
