An illustrated guide to Paris from 1909, published by A&C Black in London as part of a series of travel books issued in the early 20th century.

Red cloth boards with gold lettering and a fleur de lys cover pattern. With 24 full-page colour illustrations.

Fading to front and rear boards and spine. Wear and bumping to corners, creasing to top/bottom of spine. Spotting and toning to front/rear endpapers and to text block. Otherwise clean inside with no previous owner’s inscriptions or markings.

Very good. No major external damage. Some fading to backstrip. Clean inside with no writing, marking or previous owner’s name. Some browning to text block edges and front free endpaper. Some spotting internally to top area of pages. Overall a tight copy with no lean.
