[SOLD] J.R.R Tolkien – The Lord f the Rings – First Edition set

An unusually nice first edition set of Tolkien’s epic fantasy work. These are the 14th, 11th and 11th impressions respectively of the first issue, published between 1963 and 1965.

All three books are clean inside with no inscriptions or markings. Original dust jackets are intact and not price-clipped. Some minor wear to edges. Dust jackets show only mild age tanning. Text blocks clean with original red top edge well-preserved.

Fold-out maps are present to the rear of all three volumes and in very good condition.

Overall, a high-quality and crisp set of this collectible work.
