Biography of remarkable British official who knew and travelled with Abdelaziz bin Saud, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia, and who died during a battle between Ibn Saud and his rival Ibn Rashid in 1917.

Contains many of Shakespear’s own photos of Abdelaziz and his followers during the early years of his conquest of Arabia.
