Sadat had been a member of Nasser’s Free Officers and was later Egyptian president from 1970, before being assassinated in 1981.

Larger missing tear to rear of jacket. Sellotape mark to front endpaper. Some spotting and toning to pages. Free from inscriptions or markings.
