This delightful little book is a parody of the Rubaiyyat of Omar Khayyam, but with verses and illustrations about golf instead.

Published in 1946 by Country Life, it features four-line verses on each page, with original illustrations and a stunning title page.

The English translation of the Rubaiyat was extremely popular in the early 20th century, inspiring many comic spin-offs.

Hardback. In good condition, now rare to find with original dust jacket. Some wear, tears and chips to jacket. Pages clean inside with no previous owner’s names or inscriptions.
